Up for auction I have a Red Peavey
Vandenberg Signature guitar made in he USA.  The guitar features
include 24 frets on a maple neck with an ebony fretboard, a
24.75" scale, a custom shaped poplar body, one single coil in the neck
& 1 humbucker in the bridge positions designed to Adrian
Vandenberg's specifications, 2 volume controls, a 3-way pick-up
selector switch, 6 inline tuners, and a Peavey Floyd Rose
licensed tremolo bridge and Kahler locking nut. The story behind the making of
the Vandenberg series of guitars is that while Adrian Vandenberg was in
Whitesnake with Vivian Campbell he got a chance to play Vivian's
guitar, the Nightswan. He liked the Nightswan and, being that he was
contracted with Peavey at the time had them build him a guitar very
similar to the Nightswan's specs but with his personal modifications. I
have owned and played a Nightswan and I personally prefer the
Vandenberg to pretty much any other guitar I've played, including the
Wolfgang. The main difference is in the neck. The Vandenberg's neck is
flatter and slightly wider at the nut, being a 42MM (1 5/8") nut width
where the Nightswan had a narrower nut width.  I
will ship this worldwide but please contact me before you bid if you
are outside of the continental USA as I may be unable to ship this item
to you due to size or customs restrictions.

The guitar is in good shape.  The body is very nice with a few small chips, pick marks, typical finish crack where body meets neck, and light buckle marks on the back, not through the finish.  The neck has some marks on the back and what appears to be a surface crack between the 2nd and 5th frets.  It was like that when I bought the guitar years ago and hasnt changed since, see pics.  The frets are nice showing little wear, guitar appears all original.  The input jack needs to be cleaned or tightened or something.  When you wiggle the cable the sound cuts in and out, if you dont touch it, it works fine. The guitar plays great and would make a nice addition to your stable.  It comes with a trem arm( not sure if its original but it works well) and comes in a washburn hardshell case.  Payment due within 24 hours of auctions end.
